Many restrictive diets result in fast weight loss because of the lack of carbohydrates. Also try not to go more than four hours without eating — if you eat breakfast at 7am, for example, have a snack at 10am, lunch at noon, another snack at 3pm and dinner at 7pm.

i am 39 years old and have a good 35 lbs to lose. like you i ate whatever i wanted as a teen and stayed very thin (and i did literally no exercise) but then i hit 21 or so and realized i needed to cut back on calories and jog as weight slowly came on. then at 28-30 i got back to my teenage weight of 114 by jogging and watching carbs, i got married at 34 and since then pounds have just crept on for both my hubby and myself… i have tried everything :/

For anyone out there who is having doubts about this diet I will tell you it most definitely works. I started doing it last summer and I dropped almost 15 pounds in the first week. I’m not sure how much was retained fluid and how much was fat but I can tell you I felt much better. Unfortunately I didn’t stick with this diet and here we are a year later only down maybe 10 pounds from my heaviest 🙁 but I am super excited to start this up again and hopefully shed some major pounds before summer!
Onion Roti…yuck! I’m a non vegetarian and had requested them to have a lot of non vegetarian food along with vegetarian. Luckily I was never told to have all that..I could have roasted chicken, missi roti(which I like). I mean the diet was pretty much like what you have written. I guess it depends from person to person….And i had consti****** as I didn’t have chapattis with bran for about 3 months when I wasn’t at home, my diet was devoid of any junk food whatsoever just had plain wheat flour chapattis with veggies…not having it for once a while won’t affect. Again I guess it might vary from person to person and it did affect me 🙁

This is the first Diet plan i have ever liked. Ummm, I m planning to follow it. I m a Gym person but due to my work commitments i m unable to dedicate my time ..I m disappointed the way my wight increases every time i quit Gym. Actually, i m going through PCOD problem. I am two weeks down. First week i didn’t complete six days and relapsed on my 4th day as long weekend came at my place. But this last week i manged to complete with saturday as my cheat day. I must confess that one is unable to eat much on cheat day as your body is tuned to specific timely meals. But i didnt loose as much as i would have liked. I just dropped 1.3 Kg. Maybe because i couldnt do any sort of exercise. Now my second week has started and i plan to stick to the diet. Lets see…

Hi, I am in a female my early 20’s and put on 14 pounds from june last year. I am on a diet similar to this its called the Candida diet, (no bread, no pasta, no potatoes, no milk product, no sugar) I have been on it almost a week I don’t see much of a difference in my weight. My calorie intake is different every day sometimes as low as 700 calories a day (hard to find high calorie foods that are acceptable on the diet, beans are not allowed) I have been eating avocados and nuts to compensate. I do minimal exercise usually a 40 minute walk a day. When you said your metabolism will slow when given less calories, it that the reason I’m not loosing weight?
