HELLO rati and priyanka, i like the diet plan u have given here.i myself keep doing alterartions in my diet always when i feel i m growing fatty, did gym too and lose 20 kgs but i got.but after quitting gym 2 yaers ago i have a great hunger. its so large that in evening i m totally unable to control it 7pm to 10 pm(even if i take 2 chapaties in lunch) but i always try to control it with healthy options like fruits.i m not able to continue gym now so i exercise at home
I rarely have to snack at all. My breakfast is quite large and will always tied me over until lunch. I then try to eat my lunch very slowly (over an hour or so) throughout the day while working, etc. so that it will last to supper. The days I do a resistance workout, I’ll have a high protein smoothie after (which is usually in the afternoon) so that keeps me until supper.

In common mistakes the author tells you not to check the scale so often, in why you're gaining it back, it's because you're not checking the scale enough. Then it repeats the issues with crash diets (this is why they don't work, I agree with this completely). There is a brief paragraph on emotional eating, and I really wish this was talked about even more, but it's not.

I am 22 and recently lost about 20 pounds. I have been jogging 2-6miles 5-6 days a week, usually in the morning. I lift light weights and do p90x when I have free time after work. I have been struggling to lose the last 5 pounds for 2 weeks now. My diet is mostly plant based, but I usually eat a normal dinner. I wouldnt say my diet is strict but I am always in calorie range. Hi Adam, im a 23 year old mother of a 10 month old daughter.. I am still breast feeding, so I wasnt sure if I should cut all my carbs out. I lost 20 pounds while pregnant but gained 40 after… I want to be more fit, or skinny, or healthier to be able to run around with my daughter bevore she starts to walk. As well as having a higher self esteem about me will hopefully make my daughger look up to me, and when she is older know that she is beautiful no matter what. Its harder for me to stick to a certain schedule. Since when she eats I do the dishes, or when shes sleeping if she sleeps I try to get a quick shower in, or eat what ever is the quickest. And since I am in an apartment I cant make too much noise or else I will wake her up please help… I am willing to do anything for my daughter. If you could email that would be greatly appreciated.

Secondly, you mention that it’s been “almost a week” and that you don’t see much difference. Losing weight shouldn’t be a short term approach. Is it possible to lose weight really quickly? Of course – I did it myself, but if you are weighing yourself everyday multiple times a day you’re going to drive yourself crazy. Be consistent – we weigh in Saturday mornings. Same time every week.

Onion Roti…yuck! I’m a non vegetarian and had requested them to have a lot of non vegetarian food along with vegetarian. Luckily I was never told to have all that..I could have roasted chicken, missi roti(which I like). I mean the diet was pretty much like what you have written. I guess it depends from person to person….And i had consti****** as I didn’t have chapattis with bran for about 3 months when I wasn’t at home, my diet was devoid of any junk food whatsoever just had plain wheat flour chapattis with veggies…not having it for once a while won’t affect. Again I guess it might vary from person to person and it did affect me 🙁
