I have one concern about eating eggs everyday and the cholesterol. I have high blood pressure, what would you recommend?? I come from a family of obese, and myself i am very overweight. First things first, If everything with you is fine your weight gain is due to lethargy, wrong dietary habits and erratic routine. So When u go on a diet make sure that whatever plan u follow it must be timed right as well. You must wake up latest by 8:00 ( that’s for the late risers, even I used to wake up by 10 or 11). This is the most important thing in your routine because the body has its own clock and you shouldn’t mess with it.
To know whether you are drinking enough water for your brain, a good general rule is to drink half your weight in ounces per day. If you are significantly obese, don’t drink more than 120 ounces a day. If you are an athlete, make sure to replenish electrolytes after the game or working out. Cutting out sugary drinks and juice eliminates about 400 calories a day from the average American diet. That allows you to either eat more healthy food or eliminates a lot of calories, if you are trying to shed pounds.

I am two weeks down. First week i didn’t complete six days and relapsed on my 4th day as long weekend came at my place. But this last week i manged to complete with saturday as my cheat day. I must confess that one is unable to eat much on cheat day as your body is tuned to specific timely meals. But i didnt loose as much as i would have liked. I just dropped 1.3 Kg. Hi my name is David I’m very embarrassed to say this but I’m about to be 15 in two months and I’m 5’6 tall and I weight…..well I weight 236 pounds. Her story makes this a 5 star, I just love how she explains her connection with all animals, the planet, and caring about humans in the most compassionate non-judgemental way. Her recipes are not for beginners necessarily but over time you get it and aim for less processed more locally grown organic. I would hope most intelligent people out there would not beat themselves up for eating some processed food to get over the transition to plant-based food. Animals don't care what you eat as long as you don't eat them and avoid most products that harm animals like palm oil. I honestly can't say enough good about this book and Alicia. Her approach with compassion to people and animals is so positive. I can only hope to be half as kind when I try to help people I meet become Vegan. I always recommend this book first. If someone continues to ask me I try to emulate her. This is the kindest way to live and you will only regret not doing it sooner.
