Firstly accept my heart felt thanks for posting this diet plan. Being vegetarian with strict indian palate and living overseas , it has been impossible to get a diet plan that includes chapati ,dal subzi etc. Today is my fifth day of third week on the diet and although I have not weighed myself yet, i can feel the clothes fitting more easily already. Like so many others I request you to post or email me the second month’s eating plan. Also since I do not have access to tulsi , i had two options ….one continue with methi seeds or use basil. I opted the first one. Can u also suggest a substitute for paneer…i just used hommus…. hope to hear from u soon… lotsa love …Taruna
Also, she promotes heavily processed items like fake butter and mayonnaise, even (although she doesn't overly encourage it) phony hot dogs. She never mentions coconut oil, which surprises me because it's so hyped as a health food, as necessary fats and good for you. It can be used in place of butter or oils (she promotes saffron oil a lot, which I don't know much about).
Avoiding salt doesn’t mean your food has to be bland. Experiment with using different herbs and spices. Try adding fresh cilantro and cumin to grilled fish, lemon and rosemary to chicken, or ginger and Chinese five spice to tempeh or beef. Pick up some spice blends from your local market to help add more spice to your life… just read the ingredients and make sure there’s no salt added.
I weigh 133 lbs and i’m 5’3. I’m 14 and I really want to lose weight.I have the same problem as Julia, (basically) I want to weigh around 120, it would really help. I need to get in shape quickly because people in my school keep calling me fat, and I want to prove them wrong. I don’t like exercise, just like Julia.I have tried everything, but I always give up on myself. It is critical to know and understand what you are eating. You are not only what you eat, you are also what the animals you eat ate. In addition, eliminate food additives, preservatives, and artificial dyes and sweeteners. To do so, start reading food labels. If you do not know what is in a food item or product, don’t eat it. Would you buy something if you did not know how much it cost?
