*In the U.S., the CoolSculpting®procedure is FDA-cleared for the treatment of visible fat bulges in the submental area, thigh, abdomen and flank, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll), and upper arm. It is also FDA-cleared to affect the appearance of lax tissue with submental area treatments. In China, the cryolipolysis system is used for fat layer reduction of the abdomen and flanks. In Taiwan, the CoolSculpting procedure is cleared for the breakdown of fat in the flank (love handle), abdomen, and thigh. Outside the U.S., China and Taiwan, the CoolSculpting procedure for non-invasive fat reduction is available worldwide. CoolSculpting® and its design are trademarks of ZELTIQ Aesthetics, Inc., an Allergan affiliate. CoolSculpting is the treatment doctors use most for non-invasive fat removal.

For most of us, there comes a time, when we look in the mirror or stop for a break after long stairs and say to ourselves: “it’s time to hit the gym”. Fortunately, the growing popularity of active lifestyle led to creation of many gyms and sport clubs – we have plenty to choose from. So... which to choose? Think about what you’re going to use at the gym. A treadmill? Maybe some weights? If yes, do you really want to pay for everything, including sauna, swimming pool and fully-equipped spa section? Not likely. Then, mix low price, clear rules and professional equipment without fancy and unnecessary additions. What you get? Pure Gym.

While some of these problems still occur (notably the need for transfusions), experts say it's on a much smaller scale in the last few years. In a study presented in 2003 at an American Society of Plastic Surgeons conference in San Diego, researchers found that many such complications could be avoided if patients allowed more time to elapse between weight loss surgery and plastic surgery.

Fat-dissolving and skin-tightening procedures for body contouring that are less invasive can seem oh-so-appealing when weighed against other options, such as liposuction. Some of the latest innovations include mesotherapy (lipodissolve), which involves the injection of various cocktails into the skin to dissolve fat, Thermage (also known as Thermacool or Thermalift), which uses radiofrequency to tighten facial skin for a "nonsurgical" face-lift, and LipoSonix, which uses high-intensity ultrasound to target and destroy fat cells.
I've been going to puregym Leeds since it opened and have not experienced what other reviewers have. I've not had anything stolen but saying that I do lock up my belongings..I think it's unfortunate that others may have been stolen from. In regards to the staff, they do get on with their business and whenever I've asked for help (and I've asked different members) all have taken time out even during busy periods, to help me out. Sometimes you just need to speak up. In regards to the mould and filth in the changing rooms, I've seen none of this. The gym is still relatively new with cleaners working most of the day. I tend to go in the mornings when it's quiet and the one time I've been on an evening it's been hectic and yes, the changing rooms were messy but that's because other people using the gym left their own rubbish lying about, rather than bin it. For the price of the membership I really can't complain!

Ok, so this is my third pure gym in the uk. I am going back to the review of the Edinburgh one because I may have been harsh. These gyms are convenient, low cost and best of all no contract Pros No contract (great for travelers like me) Lots of machines (power plates) Cons Stupid tvs everywhere playing crap music videos No sanitary wipes All in all good experience!

The most commonly known treatment is liposuction, a surgical procedure with inherent risks that many patients wish to avoid. Now, less invasive energy-based alternatives are available, including energy-assisted liposuction, which is usually gentler in comparison to regular liposuction. Recently, completely non-invasive treatments are showing up in the market but results are less predictable and less impressive.
The best way to determine whether you’re fit for undergoing body sculpting without surgery is to consult the physician directly. There are two types of fat present in a human body. The first type is called visceral fat. This fat is present deep inside the muscle tissues and are not soft or pinchable. The other type is called subcutaneous fat. This kind of fat is present above the muscle and are really soft and pinchable. Subcutaneous fat can be easily removed using non-invasive techniques like laser contouring. However, if you are someone who carries a lot of visceral fat, you will need to take the long road and exercise to get a perfectly toned body.
"I would like to say it is ready to replace liposuction, but it's not -- yet," he says. Still it does have certain benefits over liposuction namely that a person can have the treatment and go to lunch afterward, Fodor says. Unlike liposuction, the new technology does not involve pain, scars, anesthesia, or a long recovery time. Only some topical anesthesia is used, he says.

During the procedure you may experience sensations of pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold, tingling, stinging, aching, and cramping at the treatment site. These sensations subside as the area becomes numb. Following the procedure, typical side effects include temporary redness, swelling, blanching, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, tenderness, cramping, aching, itching, or skin sensitivity. Sensation of fullness in the back of the throat after submental area treatment. These effects are temporary and generally resolve within days or weeks. Though rare, some additional side effects may occur. As with any medical procedure, ask your physician if the CoolSculpting procedure is right for you.
Of course, the gym does get extremely busy at peak times, but as a 24-hour gym, you can plan your visits to avoid this. This serves as proof of the great value and variety of machines. A timetable of classes are available which range from Circuits to Spinning, and Kettle Bells to the ominously titled Military Body Blast. They are very accessible to view and reserve places on, as each member has their own account on the Pure Gym website. The classes are priced from £1 to £3 and there are up to 10 places available for each class. The smug sense of superiority when booking a 7:30am class is unbeatable. The reality of shivering down to the gym on a dark Winters' morning with a make-up free face and exchanging morning pleasantries with the milkman, is another matter entirely. Needless to say, I only attempted this once and will perhaps try it again in the Summer months.

It’s ok to be skeptical! Come meet the staff, and let us meet you! First, our trained staff will show you our wall of client success stories, then, we’ll do a body composition analysis. It’s very detailed and will show valuable information like your body fat percentage, muscle mass, visceral fat and your metabolic age. If time permits, you may also do a mini-trial session. It’s just a few minutes under the LED technology, but you can experience what it’s like, and see that’s it’s pain-free and very relaxing! You will then meet with the Lipolysis Consultant who will answer all your questions. Many clients can start their first session the same day! What are you waiting for? Client results vary.
The classes are a bit daunting, not really  a great confidence booster for a first timer in the class, but if you are happy to just go in and get on with it.  Don't expect much help from the trainer in there they're just barking out orders.  There is a large volume of different types so plenty to choose from.  I recommend downloading the app and booking in advance as the popular classes tend to book up.
