These gyms are convenient, low cost and best of all no contract Pros No contract (great for travelers like me) Lots of machines (power plates) Cons Stupid tvs everywhere playing crap music videos No sanitary wipes All in all good experience!
i've been a member of pure gym for about a year and a half now and find it really good. I describe it as the easyjet of gyms, you know what you are getting, no frills but basics are delivered well. I also find that they are quite responsive, I mentioned that there wern't enough after work and evening classes and the timetable did improve (although it has slackened off again recently but I hope they will be doing something about that) The showers are nice and changing rooms always clean, whenever I go there is plenty of equipment for everyone, the machines are all new and in good nick. If anything does get broken they usually fix it within a day or so. The only thing is the personal training, which is just as expensive as any other gym. I know its one on one training and does cost but I do wish it was a bit more affordable!
