Traditional surgery requires all of the above and there is an increased risk of infections as a patient is under general anesthetic for several hours. This procedure also leaves behind, scars on your body which will stay with you for lifetime. Non-invasive procedures like body sculpting does not entail these risks. Plus, you can select which part of the body you like to tone down to that perfect shape.
"People who lose 100 pounds or more feel healthier, they know they are healthier, they can do things they could not do before. But when they look at their body, it's a constant reminder of where they were – and it can sometimes make it difficult to move on with their life," says J. Peter Rubin, MD, director of the Life After Weight Loss Surgery Center at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
PureGym has redefined the industry with its affordable, high-quality and no-contract offering, and the success of this strategy is reflected in the company's continued growth. Launched in November 2009, in February this year, PureGym reached one million members - a milestone never previously achieved by a UK gym group - and in March opened its 200th site. In addition to the acquisition of Soho Gyms, PureGym plans to open at least 20 gyms a year - extending its position as the UK's leading gym operator. On average PureGym members pay around £20 per month compared to typical average prices in the market of around £40. Members benefit from fully equipped facilities and between 50 and 80 classes per week included in the monthly membership price.
"We're absolutely delighted to announce the acquisition of Soho Gyms and look forward to welcoming their members to Pure Gym. As the leading gym operator in the country and in the capital, this deal will clearly benefit our existing members as well as provide more affordable and flexible options to people across London. With well over 200 great facilities nationwide, 24 hour opening, monthly memberships offering exceptional value, and no requirement for a 12 month contract we continue to change the game of fitness and activity in the UK and deliver on our commitment to Inspire a Healthier Nation."

Cheap, lots of equipment and 24-hour opening. Good showers. None of this can make up for the fact that I arrived at 5am one morning to discover that the £100 worth of gym gear in my locker by that I'd left in my locker accident had been thrown away. I won't be troubling them again. I also don't understand their assertion that they don't have a cafe/bar because they want to keep costs down. Surely cafes make money?

Fantastic, well equipped gym, that is great value for money. Highly recommended. Only fault and it's similar with most modern day gyms is they can be highly impersonal and for some intimidating! Best way to go beyond the status quo and get those 5 stars is to have real people casually helping out and advising folk, who might be new to it all. Radical idea! I know it means paying more salaries but the benefits of having spotters and specialists there in hand will mean more gym attendees in the medium to long term. My two cents worth!
